The National Association of Local Authorities of Ghana (NALAG) on 15th August, held a capacity building and training session for all female Assembly Members in Volta Region.
This training forms part of the nationwide Women in Local Leadership Training of NALAG which is aimed at building the capacity of female Assembly Members across the country, to maintain their positions and encourage other women to stand for elections at the local government level, especially in upcoming 2023 District Level Elections.
The event was attended by the Women Caucus Representative, the Volta Regional Representative, as well as Dr Daniel Appiah, Lecturer, Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management, University of Ghana among others.
