NALAG Voice Outdoored

The NALAG newsletter, ‘NALAG VOICE’ has been outdoored by the Minister for Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD), Hon. Julius Debrah, on 26th June, 2014 as part of the events that took place during the NALAG Extra-Ordinary Delegates Conference which took place at the National Theatre.

In his words he challenged the Association to make ‘constructive’ use of the newsletter in projecting decentralization in the country and the Association as a whole. He called for vibrancy of the Association and pledged the Ministry’s support for the Association in achieving its goals as a common voice of all MMDAs in the country.

Esther Offei-Aboagye (PHD), Director of the Institute of Local Government Studies (ILGS), auctioned the first two copies of the Newsletter (signed by the Local Government Minister) atGH¢1000.00 which was bought by the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Nii Laryea Affotey Agbo, and The Local Government Ministry respectively. A total of over 500 copies were subsequently sold on the day of Launching.
